4. WHAT IS MULTIPLIER
A binary multiplier is an electronic circuit used in digital
electronics, such as a computer, to multiply two binary
numbers. It is built using binary adders.
In binary encoding each long number is multiplied by one digit
(either 0 or 1), as the product by 0 or 1 is just 0 or the same
number. Therefore, the multiplication of two binary numbers
comes down to calculating partial products, shifting them left,
and then adding them together (like a binary addition)

AND IC 7408 (4)
INVERTER IC 7404 (1)
RESISTORS (5)

13. USAGE
These are most commonly used in various applications
especially in the field of digital signal processing to
perform the various algorithms.
Commercial applications like computers, mobiles, high
speed calculators and some general purpose processors
require binary multipliers.
14. CONCLUSION
• For the circuit implementation we had faced some problems. As
the ICs we used for AND,XOR and Inverter is cheap and
sometimes it burns inside. We had used a 5 volt regulator for
solve the problem. There are so many connections to
implement the circuit and we had connected the wires carefully.
We had used 10k ohm resistors for the LEDs as the LEDs
quickly wasted for over voltage.
