2. MULTIMEDIA DEFINED
Multimedia has multiple media (modes of
communication) that can be used to deliver
information digitally.
It is a combination of text, animation, graphics,
audio, video, image, and other forms of media.
It also includes interactive elements such as voice
command, mouse manipulation, text entry, touch
screen, video capture, or live participation of the user.

9. EXAMPLES OF MULTIMEDIA
A slide show or presentation is a presentation of a
series of still images on a projection screen or
electronic display device, typically in a prearranged
sequence.
The diagram is a plan, sketch, drawing, or outline to
show how something works, or show the
relationships between the parts of a whole.
Infographic is a visual representation of information
or data.

10. EXAMPLES OF MULTIMEDIA
The podcast is a multi-media digital file distributed
over the Internet to be watched and listened to on a
computer, iPod, or another device.
Talking Head are people who appear in television,
discussion programs, and interviews to give their
opinions about a topic.
The animation is a method of photographing
successive drawings, models, or even puppets, to
create an illusion of movement in a sequence.

11. EXAMPLES OF MULTIMEDIA
Webinars and Online Meetings - An online meeting
is a collaboration among a relatively small group of
people.
Blogs (a shortened version of “weblog”) is an online
journal or informational website displaying
information in reverse chronological order.
Interactive Content is any type of content that
requires and encourages users to actively engage with
it rather than passively consume it.

12. TYPES OF MULTIMEDIA CONTENT
Personal recount retells an activity the writer has been
personally involved in and may be used to build the
relationship between the writer and the reader.
Factual recount reports the particulars of an incident
by reconstructing the factual information.

13. GROUP TASK
Create a multimedia in a form of a vlog.
Choose a format. Format can be a travel vlog,
tutorial, music video, house tour, mukbang with talk
show, game show, interview vlog.
