order to create Multimedia projects, so in next
presentation you will find some important
elements that will help you for your
tasks, following them step by step.

sound, video, text and graphics.
 The equipment to use is necessary have the
best capacity in the hardware and software.
 It is important to take into account that also
can include others elements as CD-Rom and
Web sites.

4. What are the hardware elements?
RAM’ capacity of 128
megabytes.
Hard disk from 2 to 6 gigabytes.
A good camera resolution.
Scanner, sound card, speakers.

5. Different kinds of software:
Graphics software
(photos, pictures, images etc.)
Audio software (sound and music)
Video software (movieshop and

6. Steps to digitize some elements:
Plan and organize the content that will use for
the project.
Change into a digital form the images, video
clips and sound
Select the different elements in separate folders.
Write the process when edit the elements, so
this process can do more quickly and easily.

7. Steps to digitize images:
• Scan photos, drawings, pictures in a high resolution.
• Kinds of scanners: Hand held, flatbed or high end drum
devices.
• Some times you can crop text or parts of the picture that
if it is necessary.
• Some file formats can be:
• JPEG
• TIFF
• Bitmap
• Take care with the
resolution, contrast, colors, brightness etc.

8. Kinds of digitize sound :
Manners to use the sound in a multimedia project:
Music (from CDs, cassettes etc.)
Narration (from someone that is speaking)
Sound effects (short sounds)
Kinds of stereo system (play, stop, record, pause,
forward, review).
In order to have a successful record of sound, you
need to do the following steps:
Natural and relaxed sounding narration track.
Low level.
Background noise has to be louder.

One or two persons can talk to the camera.
It is no recommended a short play.
It is necessary to have a well video card and
capture card.
To create a digital video you have to import the
video into the computer.
Start to digitize selecting play and stop
capturing.
Save the most important parts.
