This rubric evaluates a multi-genre project on four criteria: organization, genre use and creativity, written components, and presentation. For each criterion, the rubric describes the requirements to receive an A, B, C, or no credit grade. To receive an A, the project must include all required pieces in the proper order, use five genres including one related to the student's major and a visual genre, and demonstrate creative effort. A B is given if one piece or genre is missing but the major genre and visual genre are included, and some creative effort is shown. A C means two or three pieces or genres are missing, including potentially the major genre and visual genre, and there is a lack of creative effort.

The Collection Project involves curating and creating your own collection based on a theme of your choice. Your collection
will highlight a new collection of artwork created by women artists. This will include six works that you feel have a
particularly interesting synergy as a collection. This is a culmination assignment where you are expected to apply art
terminology, history, theory, and methodology to the design of your collection. This is your chance to demonstrate your
understanding of key concepts, styles, themes, artists, and techniques acquired throughout the course.
You will act as the curator of your own museum exhibit. For this project you will write a Curatorial Statement and develop
a Collection Presentation to display the artwork you have chosen.
Curatorial Statement
The curatorial statement is a brief introduction to your exhibition. A curator is the person who is in charge of a museum’s
exhibitions; from planning and selecting artwork, to researching and documenting information. This piece should be 3
paragraphs in length and approximately 250-300 words. In the first paragraph discuss the theme, methodology, and
overall message/point of view of your exhibition. In the second paragraph, discuss the types of works or media that
viewers will see. This may include artist's statements, external "press" about the work, or excerpts from online articles
relevant to the work. Be sure to properly cite any external information that is paraphrased and/or quoted in the critical
discussion. In the third paragraph, discuss your process of discovering pieces for this collection/research, applying
methodology, and supporting the validity and relevance of the message to your viewers. Feel free to express personal
connections.

The Collection Project involves curating and creating your own collection based on a theme of your choice. Your collection
will highlight a new collection of artwork created by women artists. This will include six works that you feel have a
particularly interesting synergy as a collection. This is a culmination assignment where you are expected to apply art
terminology, history, theory, and methodology to the design of your collection. This is your chance to demonstrate your

You will act as the curator of your own museum exhibit. For this project you will write a Curatorial Statement and develop

Curatorial Statement
The curatorial statement is a brief introduction to your exhibition. A curator is the person who is in charge of a museum’s
exhibitions; from planning and selecting artwork, to researching and documenting information. This piece should be 3
paragraphs in length and approximately 250-300 words. In the first paragraph discuss the theme, methodology, and
overall message/point of view of your exhibition. In the second paragraph, discuss the types of works or media that

The final project for this course is the creation of a research paper. You will be examining organizational behavior and how it affects corporate strategy and decision making. This project will enable you to identify alternatives and recommend thoroughly defended strategies that leaders can use for best practices.
You will select an organizational behavior (OB) topic to research and write about. The topic must be approved by the instructor. This final product represents an authentic demonstration of the competencies achieved in this course as you put into action all that you have learned. Overview
The final project for this course is a group project in which the group will analyze Shady Acre Health Systems (SAHS) in order to: 1) determine the current issues
SAHS is facing, 2) devise plausible solutions to these issues, and 3) recommend a course of action. Groups will construct a PowerPoint presentation highlighting
the current issues along with the solutions. Groups will also submit supporting documentation explaining, in detail, the recommended course of action.
Objectives
To successfully complete this project, you will be expected to apply what you have learned in this course and should include several of the following course
objectives:
● Evaluate organizational strategies and approaches that contribute to creating a culture of quality and safety through leadership, priority setting, and a
commitment to systems thinking and organizational roles, processes, and structure
● Construct effective organizational processes that will transform the health service organization and enable it to meet the needs of a diverse clientele
● Analyze the multifaceted relationships of the triangle of health service delivery: quality, cost, and access
● Determine the various political and social forces that are influencing the direction of health service delivery

Research Proposal Assignment
Research Proposals exist for two reasons: One, as a guide for you to examine the overall shape and scope of your project, and two, to elicit funding from sponsors for said project (usually). As I can pay you only in joy and index cards, this proposal focuses more on the former intended outcome and as practice for future proposals in your career. For our purposes, you will generate a three-paragraph long proposal for your final research paper. Remember that this is a proposal – i.e. a suggestion for what you would like to write about within the confines of your discourse community. Essentially, you’re going to take something you love and identify an exigence affecting the discourse community around that thing you love.
Tip – Your interests/passions will lead you to a subject – such as “global warming”
Your proposal will investigate a topic related to that subject – such as “the effects of global warming on the breeding methods of the Canadian Goose.” (NOTE: the proposal is simply to start investigating the topic. That investigation will lead to your research question and a more formalized inquiry, but don’t try to get to that point just yet).
“HAY GIIIIRRRRLLLLLLLLLL”
Don’t concern yourself with writing an introduction or a conclusion or with presenting the proposal as a concept that is written in stone. You are proposing an investigation, NOT to find a solution.
Paragraph 1: In the first paragraph of your proposal, introduce your research paper topic and describe what you think at this point the main focus of the paper might be. Include a tentative thesis in this paragraph – but think of it more as a hypothesis. The beauty of research is that it is always fluid and informs itself. Therefore, starting out with an axe to grind (so, something you intend to prove) is a recipe for failure. Let the research guide you as you move toward your final paper, but having a preliminary thesis helps your investigation stay focused. What interests you about the topic you have chosen? Why should this exigence be addressed? What value will it provide to the further research of your discourse community?
Paragraph 2: In the second paragraph, discuss the sources that you intend to use. What will be the most useful in investigating your topic? If it will be a literature review, what journals look promising as sites for article collection, and why? If you intend to do a full research project, what methods do you foresee yourself using, and why? Who might the participants be, or will you use a data set instead? (Such as surveying moviegoers vs analyzing 20 movie posters)

For this assignment, students will write a formal proposal for a therapeutic or educational
program that will serve as the final paper for the course. The paper should be written in APA
format, including a title page and reference pages (see sample papers on pages 41 – 59 in 6th ed.
of APA manual), and must follow the basic structure provided below. The subject matter is the
student’s choice only constricted by some congruity with the course theme of curriculums and
programs. The paper should be at least 15 pages long (excluding reference pages, title page, and
visual examples) with a minimum of eight sources.
Each student will deliver an accompanying semi-formal class presentation related to his or her
paper that should be about 20 minutes in duration and should include visuals. Presentation times
and dates will be assigned in class. A rubric outlining the criteria used for assessing the paper
and presentation is provided along with this evaluation packet. Please attach or print a copy of
this entire evaluation guide (all sides/sheets will be available on Blackboard) and attach it
as the LAST pages of your paper.

A. Purpose of the Therapeutic/Educational/Adminstrative/Museum Program

included along with your purpose statement, if that suits your sensibilities in
organizing your paper. While you should appropriately identify the audience that
you are making “your pitch” to, you do NOT need to dwell on other ways that
your program might be funded. This course is NOT about funding/grant writing.
C. Need for the Program (Justification): Why is there a need for the program
you are proposing; why should your audience support your proposal; why is it
important?
D. Definition of Terms: List and define any key terms that you think readers of
your proposal will need to know prior to reading its content
E. Brief Overview of the Proposed Program: In a brief paragraph, let the
audience/reader know what is coming in the pages ahead; what they should be
expecting
III. Background and Review of Literature Related to Chosen Topic
Using sub-headings as appropriate, discuss “just the facts, ma’am” about the existing
literature related to the purposes of your therapeutic/educational program. For the most
part, take a dispassionate stance in writing this section. You are merely introducing the

This study examines the profound emotional, psychological, and professional impacts on students engaged in pro-Palestine protests, focusing on Generation Z's (Gen-Z) activism dynamics. This paper explores the significant sacrifices made by these students and even the professors supporting the pro-Palestine movement, with a focus on recent global movements. Through an in-depth analysis of printed and electronic media, the study examines the impacts of these sacrifices on the academic and personal lives of those involved. The paper highlights examples from various universities, demonstrating student activism's long-term and short-term effects, including disciplinary actions, social backlash, and career implications.
