Assemble and submit Design Package to Certifying Authorities (ie: ABS, DNV).
Keep the Engineering, Quality Documents and Master Job Books up to date for
ISO 9001/2008 audits.
Directed weekly Design Review Meetings as required per ISO 9001/2008.
Verification of Material with or without Charpy Impact Testing to meet contract
requirements and 3rd
Party Standards.
DOCUMENT CONTROL
Document Control was under my responsibility. Review and sign-off final ECN
packages, check all drawings which include New Release or Revisions.
QUALITY MANAGEMENT
Develop the Quality Management System for ISO 9001/2008. As designated
Quality Representative this involved releasing a Quality Statement, Objectives,
Quality and HSE Manual (Per OSHA), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP),
Work Instructions & Forms.
Also review the MRB Material Records Book that the Project Manager has put
together for the project. This includes all the Material Certs, Welder
Qualifications, WPS, PQR’s and ITP Inspection Test Reports.
Create and organize a spreadsheet of all existing equipment and offer Life Cycle
management for yearly and 5 yr Inspections per required 3rd
party standards.
TECHNICAL PUBLICATIONS
Manage the Technical Publications for Operators Manuals which involved
standardizing the format of the Op’s Manuals.
SERVICE SUPPORT
Support the Service Group as required for Installation and Commissioning.
Support for the Service Dept. which involved writing up yearly and 5yr
inspection reports, then sign off as approved once punch list items are closed out.
Support the Service Group with any Design change requirements or replacement
part issues.
TSC Offshore/Patriot Crane – Engineering Manager 08/2007 – 10/2014
