functions. It will return the average
value of a given series of numbers in
Excel. The function is used to
calculate the arithmetic mean of a
given set of arguments in Excel

7. The SUM function helps add the
numerical values. These values
can be supplied to the function
as numbers, cell references, or
ranges. The SUM function is
used when there is a need to find
the total of specified cells.

8. SUMIF Function - The SUMIF
Function is categorized under
Excel Math and Trigonometry
functions. It will sum up cells
that meet the given criteria. The
criteria are based on dates,
numbers, and text.

9. The COUNT function counts the
number of cells that contain
numbers, and counts numbers
within the list of arguments. Use
the COUNT function to get the
number of entries in a number
field that is in a range or array of
numbers

10. The COUNTA function counts cells
containing any type of information,
including error values and empty
text (""). For example, if the range
contains a formula that returns an
empty string, the COUNTA function
counts that value. The COUNTA
function does not count empty cells.

you to combine text from different

we can use it to combine the text in
column A and column B to create a
combined name in a new column.
