At presentIam involvedinthe overhaulprocessforthe Desiro450 class electricunitsatEastleigh
works.I leada teamof five highlyskilledtechniciansonashiftbasis.Overthe pastfour and a half
yearsI have ledmy teamthrough overhaulingthe class444 EMU trainsforthe SWT contract
whichwasverysuccessful forthe business.Followingonfromthe 444 overhaul we have carried
out tractionmotor changes,modifiedall the class444 unitsto hydro suspensionbushesonthe
axle armsat the requestof SWT.This againwas verysuccessful.
