captures signatures, keeps tabs on “who
needs to do what” and automatically files

Continuous development has been
fundamental to MRTSA’s strength.
Seminar lead training is supported by
electronic assessments created in the HR
ResourceForce platform, and certification
documents are easily uploaded and
tracked for renewal requirements. Other
learning is fully delivered through the
technology, such as the training materials
on YouTube from a video laryngoscope
manufacture or the First Responder
Autism training on a DVD. Electronic web-
based delivery ensures employees get
what they need, when they need it, and
assessments ensure learning has occurred.

Challenge: MRTSA provides 24/7 emergency medical services to six
communities in the South Hills of Pittsburgh. Their 50 employees in 3 locations
respond to approximately 10,000 calls per year. Communicating with dispersed
