Mr. Piccioli has a behavior policy for his class with three rules: follow directions, respect people and things, and be responsible. The consequences for not following the rules are a verbal warning, having your name written on the board, and a 5 minute timeout. Planners are used daily for communication between school and home. Students can earn a stamp for completing their work and having good behavior, while missing stamps or having their name on the board means they did not earn the stamp for the day.

Planners
Planners are used everyday and are a great form of communication between
school and home. At the end of each day I check planners. Students will
receive a Stamp for the day if their work was complete and there were no
behavior problems. If work was not complete or they had their name on the
board a stamp will not be given. I will initial the planner and let the student
know why they did not receive a stamp. It is the student’s responsibility to
inform their parents why they didn’t receive a stamp. If students miss more
than one stamp for the week they may miss some of their Friday Fun Time.
