This document summarizes an MPLADS internship project to refurbish and widen a 1.3 km long and 7 meter wide road in Nagpur, Maharashtra, India at a cost of 49 lakhs (approximately $75,000 USD). The contractor, LC Gurbaxani, was given from January 30, 2015 to March 27, 2015 to complete the earthwork, lay granular sub base and tar the road, with the intern assisting the execution team and coordinating with authorities to supervise, estimate costs and report on project status to MP Ajay Sancheti over 5 days.
