The Central parts of the Brazilian
Highlands receive most of their
precipitation during the summer
months ( November to April ) in

Winter Months ( May to October )The highlands
are dry, and snow falls only in certain
southernmost states. Temperature are usually
around 68 degrees and in the central and
northern regions are a few degrees cooler.

- Brazil’s annual inflation rate rose 3.2 percent in October 2020 from 3.14 percent in September
- This was the highest inflation rate since February, when the cost of food and beverages increased to an
over four-year high
- Prices for housing and communication went and the cost of transport rebounded, while clothing prices
started to fall at a softer pace
- Personal expenses, health, and education prices slowed down
- Consumer prices advanced 0.86 percent on a monthly basis after a 0.64 percent gain in November
