Motivation refers to the process that energizes and directs people's behavior towards achieving their goals. There are several theories of motivation that explain how it affects organizational behavior, such as through regular wages and performance appraisals to provide incentives like vehicle loans or medical benefits. Providing an enabling working environment with amenities like air conditioning can also motivate employees, as well as offering traveling opportunities and interesting work.
