Doof/slechthorend in Ghana Ghana 20 miljoen mensen 1,8 miljoen gehandicapt 6 -10% heeft gehoorproblemen  Slechts 1% van gehandicapte kinderen gaat naar school 60% van deze kinderen hebben gehoorproblemen
Onderwijs aan doven en slechthorend is moeizaam Slechts 10 audiologen  (op 20 milj. inwoners) Onvoldoende screening van kinderen Leeromgeving is niet aangepast aan specifieke behoeften Leerkrachten beschikken over weinig kennis Communicatieproblemen in de klas
