This document provides a correctional dose of insulin based on random blood sugar levels. It lists different insulin doses ranging from nil to 15 IU that should be given depending on whether the random blood sugar level is between 61-150 mg/dl, 151-200 mg/dl, 201-250 mg/dl, 251-300 mg/dl, 301-350 mg/dl, 351-400 mg/dl, or over 400 mg/dl. It also notes that if the random blood sugar is over 250 mg/dl, a urine ketone level should be determined.
