No standard content management platform for rendering and delivering the content based on subscribers device capability leading to following issues: Content Business planning Subscriber profiling Content on-boarding New Service launch 2. No analytics and Recommendation engine for targeting multiple segment of Customers based on Subscriber purchase history, device capability, age on the network, thereby, reducing stickiness of Subscribers to VAS offering 3. Vodafone has tied up with VAS SDP Vendor Aepona ( company taken over by Intel) and integration in progress 4. Recommendation engine of Vodafone is from NSN 5. Analytics engine in Vodafone is on Buy out model from the Vendor ( Chordiant) 6. Integration Partner IBM in Vodafone plays the similar role what IT plays for 7. Real-time Billing & VAS CRM Framework is part of VAS SDP Platform in , whereas , in Vodafone it is separate platform Real-time Billing from Ericsson, and CRM is from Oracle. 8. Vodafone own 53241 Service is managed through Onmobile SDP, whereas in own 51234 is managed through Reliance owned voice Portal (ROVP)
  • #8 Few of the reasons: Why VAS Revenue is going down? Value from FaceBook and the likes of WhatsApp vanished either due to technology evolution or competition. By far, VAS services was pretty much controlled by TSP which is no more the case.
