WHAT IS MOBILE ?
oA mobile phone is an electronic device used to make
mobile telephone calls across a wide geographic area.
oIn addition to being a telephone, modern mobile
phones also support many additional services such
as SMS, e-mail, Internet access, gaming, Bluetooth
and infrared, camera, MMS messaging, MP3 player,
radio and GPS

 It was first announced at Mobile World Congress in
February 2010 by Intel and Nokia.
FIRST MEEGO PHONE
 In September 2011 it was announced by Intel and the
Linux Foundation that MeeGo will be totally replaced by
Tizen during 2012.
 Tizen will be a new free and open source Linux-based
operating-system which itself will be released in the first
quarter of 2012.
