technology division. Today, we help over 500 organizations create content and deliver it using
powerful mobile based technology.
The QSR franchise division is headed up by Jim Snow, the former CEO of the largest full service
fitness franchise in the US and a Sr. Executive in the Hospitality Industry, with over 25 years of
experience in franchising and creating consumer loyalty and engagement.

The Challenge
Businesses today face fierce competition, consumers on the go and traditional advertising with very
poor ROI. Getting a competitive advantage and reaching the consumer has never been more
difficult than right now.
In the US, 61% of the population now has a smartphone and they have them within arms reach at
all times. However, they also have an average of 40 apps on their phone, so there is a danger of your
app getting lost in the crowd.
You’ve got the nationwide app downloads, but now the challenge (and the opportunity) is to enable
local franchisees with local knowledge to engage with their local audience and generate tangible
results in the form of footfall, revenue and engagement.
The Moball Solution
Moball has revolutionized the way the franchise
community uses mobile technology to
communicate with their customers and is
changing the world of franchise marketing.
Franchised businesses have unique marketing
challenges and opportunities. The first thing we
did was build a custom mobile marketing solution
for the QSR industry from the ground up.
Our mobile marketing platform combines the
tools needed by the Franchisor to protect the
overall brand and user experience; whilst creating
a powerful new opportunity for local franchisees
to market their restaurant to your app users who
are currently in their local area.
When it comes to apps; QSR franchisors need to
think globally but empower their local franchisees
to market locally.
The Moball Technology
It all starts with knowing where your app users are in real time. Moball software does this for you by
adding a simple plugin into your existing app.
Once you know where your app users are, you can match them automatically to a local franchisee
account.
A franchisee can then login to a secure Moball account and message your app users who are local to
their franchise. Moball also delivers customised email alerts to a franchisee, when a certain number
of app users (i.e. +500) are currently in the defined area
They can then react to the email alert and communicate to users who are in their clearly defined
territory and within your brand guidelines.
Creating a Moball Message
Mobile marketing targets a very
personal space for consumers.
Care has to be taken to deliver
messages that are relevant,
engaging and useful.
Moball messages can include
video, maps, coupons, pictures
and links to make sure the
message is engaging and
valuable to a local consumer.
A franchisee can create a great
looking rich message in less than
a minute using our super easy
drag and drop editor.
Sending a Moball Message
A franchisee now has 2 options:
1. Send a Rich Push Message to all app users currently in their defined territory
2. Create a local Geofence to target your app users who are currently in a real world location.
Consider a local QSR Geofencing a local football stadium, or local music festival where large
numbers of your app users are congregated.
A local franchisee can see these local app users in real time and then send a message to just those
specific local users.
Geofencing Opportunities
Additional Location Opportunities:
As well local stadiums, a franchisee could Geofence their own QSR outlet to drive footfall with a
coupon.
They could also Geofence the whole Mall with a special offer, before shoppers decide what to have for
lunch, or a competitors parking lot to change behaviour.
Other opportunities include:
Transport Hubs like railway stations, airports and local freeway exits.

of all messaging and the open
rates.
The Franchisee has a view of
their local message results, to
instantly see when and where
generates the best local results.

Brand Protection
Moball is an extremely powerful tool to
communicate with your app users.
However, it’s important to our Franchisor
partners to set clear parameters to protect
the user experience.
Franchisors can easily set the following
locked-down parameters:
•Number of messages a franchisee ‘sub
account’ can send.
•Number of Geofences a franchisee ‘sub
account’ can create.
•Restrict the message content a franchisee
can send.
•Restrict the territory/location a franchisee
can send messages to.

Set Up and Unlimited Support
Whilst Moball delivers enormous marketing opportunities for QSR franchises, we also
appreciate that this is new technology and support will be needed to deliver the best
return on investment.
The Moball solution includes setting up the main Franchisor ‘Super Admin’ account and
each Franchisee ‘Sub Account’.
We then provide ongoing support to help them generate the best possible return on
investment.

Moball Platform Costs
Moball is designed to be easy to use and affordable for everyone. Often our partners have already spent
considerable sums on money on building an app and are now focused on working with Moball to deliver
local results for local franchisees.
Local franchisees also expect a great return on investment, that delivers over and above traditional
advertising alternatives
We provide a simple software plugin that is added to the main Franchisor app. This is provided free of
charge, with full support for your developer team and changes nothing about your existing app.
The Franchisor then markets the new mobile marketing opportunity to their franchisees.
When a franchisee signs up to a Moball account we charge:
• $99 per franchisee one-off setup and telephone-based onboarding.
• $99pm per store
Minimum account packages apply
There are no other charges and all accounts come with unlimited support and new features like iBeacons
are being added regularly to further drive value and opportunity for local mobile marketing.

  • 4. The Challenge Businesses today face fierce competition, consumers on the go and traditional advertising with very poor ROI. Getting a competitive advantage and reaching the consumer has never been more difficult than right now. In the US, 61% of the population now has a smartphone and they have them within arms reach at all times. However, they also have an average of 40 apps on their phone, so there is a danger of your app getting lost in the crowd. You’ve got the nationwide app downloads, but now the challenge (and the opportunity) is to enable local franchisees with local knowledge to engage with their local audience and generate tangible results in the form of footfall, revenue and engagement.

  • 6. The Moball Technology It all starts with knowing where your app users are in real time. Moball software does this for you by adding a simple plugin into your existing app. Once you know where your app users are, you can match them automatically to a local franchisee account. A franchisee can then login to a secure Moball account and message your app users who are local to their franchise. Moball also delivers customised email alerts to a franchisee, when a certain number of app users (i.e. +500) are currently in the defined area They can then react to the email alert and communicate to users who are in their clearly defined territory and within your brand guidelines.
  • 7. Creating a Moball Message Mobile marketing targets a very personal space for consumers. Care has to be taken to deliver messages that are relevant, engaging and useful. Moball messages can include video, maps, coupons, pictures and links to make sure the message is engaging and valuable to a local consumer. A franchisee can create a great looking rich message in less than a minute using our super easy drag and drop editor.
  • 8. Sending a Moball Message A franchisee now has 2 options: 1. Send a Rich Push Message to all app users currently in their defined territory 2. Create a local Geofence to target your app users who are currently in a real world location. Consider a local QSR Geofencing a local football stadium, or local music festival where large numbers of your app users are congregated. A local franchisee can see these local app users in real time and then send a message to just those specific local users.
  • 9. Geofencing Opportunities Additional Location Opportunities: As well local stadiums, a franchisee could Geofence their own QSR outlet to drive footfall with a coupon. They could also Geofence the whole Mall with a special offer, before shoppers decide what to have for lunch, or a competitors parking lot to change behaviour. Other opportunities include: Transport Hubs like railway stations, airports and local freeway exits.
  • 10. 10 Detailed Analytics for both Parties The Franchisor has a global view of all messaging and the open rates. The Franchisee has a view of their local message results, to instantly see when and where generates the best local results.
  • 11. 11 Brand Protection Moball is an extremely powerful tool to communicate with your app users. However, it’s important to our Franchisor partners to set clear parameters to protect the user experience. Franchisors can easily set the following locked-down parameters: •Number of messages a franchisee ‘sub account’ can send. •Number of Geofences a franchisee ‘sub account’ can create. •Restrict the message content a franchisee can send. •Restrict the territory/location a franchisee can send messages to.
  • 12. 12 Set Up and Unlimited Support Whilst Moball delivers enormous marketing opportunities for QSR franchises, we also appreciate that this is new technology and support will be needed to deliver the best return on investment. The Moball solution includes setting up the main Franchisor ‘Super Admin’ account and each Franchisee ‘Sub Account’. We then provide ongoing support to help them generate the best possible return on investment.
  • 13. 13 Moball Platform Costs Moball is designed to be easy to use and affordable for everyone. Often our partners have already spent considerable sums on money on building an app and are now focused on working with Moball to deliver local results for local franchisees. Local franchisees also expect a great return on investment, that delivers over and above traditional advertising alternatives We provide a simple software plugin that is added to the main Franchisor app. This is provided free of charge, with full support for your developer team and changes nothing about your existing app. The Franchisor then markets the new mobile marketing opportunity to their franchisees. When a franchisee signs up to a Moball account we charge: • $99 per franchisee one-off setup and telephone-based onboarding. • $99pm per store Minimum account packages apply There are no other charges and all accounts come with unlimited support and new features like iBeacons are being added regularly to further drive value and opportunity for local mobile marketing.
