This study focuses on having a healthy and organic instant soup for
working mothers here in Ilocos Norte that is made from organic
horseradish, sweet potato, and shrimp. This type of soup designed for
fast and simple preparation. Moreover, they are reasonably priced, easily
accessible, and practically instant to prepare.
This study aims to identify the following:
1. What are the product issues, problems and challenges encountered by
a working mother in preparing soup?
2. What ingredients may be used in developing healthy and nutritious
instant soup?
3. What is the level of accessibility of the developed product in term of
the following:
3.1. Nutritive Value
3.2. Taste
3.3. Appearance
This study would be favorable and significant to the following:
• Students. This study may help the students to cope up with the limitation of
time as well as by keeping them healthy by eating this product.
• Parents. This study will give parents an idea to what to prepare for their
children that is something healthy.
• Teachers. This study will help the teachers to educate their students about on
making innovation of instant soup made with healthy ingredients.
• Consumers. This study will help the consumers to intake something nutritious.
• Future researcher. This study help future researchers to be aware on the
product and help them for wider understanding.
The study is focused to determine the quality of the
product here in Ilocos Norte. A total of thirty (30) working
mothers are randomly chosen in the vicinity of Ilocos
Norte using evaluation sheets. The study will be conducted
on August to December 2024.
The study will use the Research and Development (R&D)
methodology as the nature of the study will employ the input-
process-output (IPO) model.
In this study, the researchers will identify the prevalent issues,
problems, and challenges encountered by working mother in
preparing soup and will be subjected to analysis. Findings will be the
basis for the development of a healthy and nutritious instant soup.
The study will be conducted at Ilocos Norte.

