migrated from Oracle 10g on Windows 2003 to Red Hat Linux server, Oracle 11g.

 Creation of users on the new server.
 Creation of new database on the target machine.
 Export of data from old server and importing into new database.
 Testing of new database in coordination with the development team.
 Modification of Init parameters for tuning the database

Details : The objective of this activity is to facilitate the user with the latest
features/functionalities of Oracle APPS 11.5.10 CU2. With the new release the issues related
to costing in the version 11.5.7 will be resolved.
Responsibilities
As DBA -
 Downloading the relevant patches.
 Documenting the patches
 Cloning the Test site with production database and application.
 Generation of TUMS-MP report to finalize the list of patches required.
 Application of Pre-req, main patch and India localization patches
 Reviewing the log files and taking corrective actions.

This database is for the purpose of maintaining Payroll transactions for Escorts Limited, ASP,
RED and Corporate office. Migrated the database from old server to new server. The objective
was to transfer the database from old server to new server and upgrade the database to 9i for
better utilization of resources.

 Installed Oracle 9.2.0.4 on new server
 Creation of users on the new server.
 Creation of new database on the target machine.
 Export of data from old server and importing into new database.
 Creation of scripts to validate the objects
 Testing of new database in coordination with the development team.

 Implementing the backup strategy after the go live.

Upgraded the database on Test and Production site as a pre-requisite to APPS migration. The
upgradation was done using the standard procedure for Oracle 9i (manual). All the objects
validated, bugs resolved and database tuned to user satisfaction.

 Installed Oracle 9.2.0.7 on TEST site and Production site
 Cloning of Test site.
 Modified the OS Kernel Parameters as per APPS Requirement
 Applied Inter-operability steps to make the database compatible with Oracle Apps

 Modification of Init parameters to ensure successful compilation of Invalid objects.

This software has been developed by i2 technologies, USA and forms a part of Supply Chain
Management solutions implemented by the company worldwide. This module of i2 has been
implemented for improving Demand Forecast. The system is an OLAP tool that provides a
number of Statistical methods to generate forecast on the basis of past demand data. The
software not only helps in forecasting but it allows to record causal promo factors for better
forecasting and provides on-line MIS. The user can view on-line MIS simply by clicking at
Geography and product dimensions. The software has been interfaced with Oracle ERP to
provide a better view of Marketing data to the senior management and take better decisions
for sales promotions and forecasting.

1. Finalization of Forecast process for AMG in coordination with i2 team and its review.
2. Development of software to capture historical data for Demand Planner so as to generate
Statistical Forecast.
3. Creation of bookmarks and statistical models for generation of Stat. Forecast.

The System is designed to control the Parts, Vehicle inventory management and analysis. The
system also provides the facility of capturing market prospects and their follow-up and
analysis – Salesman, Territory wise etc. The system is designed to handle the inventory
operations in such a way so as to give latest inventory and accounts status. It provides the
drill-down of accounting details in a way similar to Tally. The system is used to capture the
service details of the tractor e. g .Job Card, Warranty Claim, Free Service Claims and PDI etc.

Details
The System is handling the share accounting of investors who have invested in CFCL shares,
NCD, CCP shares. It allows the transfer of shares from one investor to other, generation of
dividend, and calculation of interest on debentures and generation of cheques for the
investors. The system also handles the reconciliation of cheques paid with bank statement.

Migrated the database from old server to new server. The objective was to transfer the database from old server to new server and upgrade the database to 9i for better utilization of resources. (AMG), Faridabad. Platform : HP-UX B.11.11 Details Upgraded the database on Test and Production site as a pre-requisite to APPS migration. The upgradation was done using the standard procedure for Oracle 9i (manual). All the objects validated, bugs resolved and database tuned to user satisfaction. Role : Developer 2. Name : Demand Planner (i2 Technologies) Location : Escorts Ltd. (AMG), Faridabad. Platform : Windows NT 4.0 Details This software has been developed by i2 technologies, USA and forms a part of Supply Chain Management solutions implemented by the company worldwide. This module of i2 has been implemented for improving Demand Forecast. The system is an OLAP tool that provides a number of Statistical methods to generate forecast on the basis of past demand data. The software not only helps in forecasting but it allows to record causal promo factors for better forecasting and provides on-line MIS. The user can view on-line MIS simply by clicking at Geography and product dimensions. The software has been interfaced with Oracle ERP to provide a better view of Marketing data to the senior management and take better decisions for sales promotions and forecasting.
