business line,which are written in COBOL and CICS, embedded with SQL accessing data from IMS DB and
DB2 for online and batch processing.Altered Control-M scheduling to modifythe job's dependencies and the
timing for batch processing.
o In State Farm's auto-insurance business line,made major custom enhancements within New Business and
Renewal cycling,which included the following:converting AFP mode Auto Renewal application to HP Document
composition package,engineering policyholder check paymentprocess application,altered Renewal and credit

2.  New application development& enhancementofexisting applications as Lead System Analyst:
o Participated in the requirement-gathering process and created technical design solutions for Auto Renewal and
Premium increase application.The new design will trigger the Renewal and the premium increase process atthe
same time and send the combined information to policyholders.The new application developed using COBOL
accessing data from DB2 and embedded SQL.This new application calls the existing Auto Renewal application
builtaround EPL/I and IMS DB.
o Architected Enterprise Privacy Policy Application using EPL/I, IMS DB, COBOL, DB2 & embedded SQL,
Mainframe control-M scheduling, and IBM DirectConnect.
o Designed and developed a tool to consolidate customer communication documents Renewals,Dec Page,
Balance Dues,and Lien holder Notices.This tool increased the operational efficiencyof PIM Center process and
saved millions ofdollars in terms ofhuman hours as well as USPS postal discount.This tool is written in COBOL,
accessing data from VSAM files.
