The number one cause of death of law enforcement officers is suicide. Every 22 hours a law enforcement officer takes his own life. The average tenure of a law officer is only 6 years before they either quit, are killed in the line of duty, or take their own life. The document requests support to train chaplains to minister to law enforcement officers and bring them the peace that only comes through calling on Jesus Christ.

- 8. Statistically every 52 hours a law enforcement officer is killed in the line of duty.
- 9. From Jan.1, 2012 through Nov. 26, 2012 These brave man and women died in the line of duty.
