The document discusses the importance of Christianity and what it means to have a relationship with God. It argues that if Christianity is true, it is of infinite importance. It then explores the nature and love of God, how all people have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, and that Jesus died for our sins. It notes that salvation is a free gift from God and asks what this means for the reader, suggesting it could mean a relationship with God and eternal life.
Being inconsistent can be the root of serious failure in many lives because of being away from God and His word. It most often does not start with serious offenses, but small things.
1 John 3:11-24: John reminds us that loving one another is not an option for those who are in Christ. Either we love one another, as Jesus loved us; or we are like Cain and Satan. We should love one another, we can know if we are loving one another, we ought to love one another and he commands us to love one another.

John 15:5: This lesson reminds us that because we are each branches in Christ, we ought to love each other. There is more to being a church than just worshiping together and we need to grow in our love and consider one another.

This is the third message in Pastor Chuck Bernal's series, "UNCHAINED" (Breaking Free From The Pain, The Power And The Prison Of The Past). The message is titled, "MERCY - Understanding The Power Of Forgiveness". In this message Pastor Chuck talks about the negative impact of anger, hatred and bitterness in our lives and why it is a "poison". He then encourages us to replace bitterness with forgiveness and show mercy to anyone that has hurt us or wronged us. This message was delivered at LifePointe Church on Sunday, April 17, 2016.
It is vital that we overcome our own conceptions of Jesus and open our eyes to see His glory. Jesus is not just a man, a teacher, a wiseman, or a prophet. He is Deity. Our Creator who came to be our Savior and Lord. Seeing His glory will transform us.
1 Cor. 1:9-10 God is faithful, by whom you were called into the fellowship of His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. Now I plead with you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that you all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you, but that you be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.

The greatest love of all is God's unconditional love for us. He demonstrated this love by sending His Son Jesus Christ into the world, who died for us on the Cross and rose up again, making it possible for us to be adopted into God's family as sons and daughters. Will you embrace God's love for you?

Homily: The Solemnity of the Most Holy Trinity Sunday 2024.docxJames Knipper
Countless volumes have been written trying to explain the mystery of three persons in one true God, leaving us to resort to metaphors such as the three-leaf clover to try to comprehend the Divinity. Many of us grew up with the quintessential pyramidal Trinity structure of God at the top and Son and Spirit in opposite corners. But what if we looked at this ‘mystery’ from a different perspective? What if we shifted our language of God as a being towards the concept of God as love? What if we focused more on the relationship within the Trinity versus the persons of the Trinity? What if stopped looking at God as a noun…and instead considered God as a verb? Check it out…
In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.
