The existing mission statement of delighting stakeholders by
delivering advancements in technology that are essential in the
way they work and live and the code of ethics which states that
business should be conducted with professionalism, honesty and

The company has various community based programs that have
benefited the community in lifting up their lives. In New
Mexico Intel is the leading employer. These two statements
have been the driving force in achieving global status for the
company.
Brian Krzanich a former CEO had to resign due to relationship
with an employee. Patent infringement lawsuits. These two
scenarios are of ethical concern for a company that markets

The new mission statement should be; Intel advancing
technology to empower you. The mission statement is to set a
path for the company to make more advancement in technology
through better innovations that will make life easier for the
customer. The changes have been made to make a simple
statement showing the customer is the king.

Final Sales Presentation
Sell your Idea
The Prompt
Use everything you know about great presenting and business
research to sell your original idea to a non-
consumer audience.
Overview
Your Final Sales Presentation is your last presentation of the
semester and should be your best possible work;
consider this your final exam. Because this is a skill-building
course, guidelines for this presentation are broad
and allow you a wide range of creative latitude – have fun with
this! Successful presentations will demonstrate
the progress you’ve made this semester as a speaker and will
demonstrate mastery of persuasive, audience-
center content, persuasive organization, delivery, Q&A
readiness, and slide design.
For this presentation, you will not be selling to consumers.
6. Instead, you will be selling your idea to an audience
who can make your idea happen. Model this after real sales
pitches given at business conferences, summits,
incubators, Kelley case competitions, IU departmental programs
and projects, and IU student initiatives (I hope
you opened a few of those links). For example, don’t sell a
Harley-Davison motorcycle; instead, sell a new
marketing concept to Harley-Davidson. Don’t sell a Sony DVD
player; persuade a group of Sony executives to
sponsor the renovation of the local historical theatre. Or, sell a
competitor’s latest integrated technology concept
to those Sony executives. You may decide to persuade UITS to
upgrade student Webmail or the IU Trustees to
build a new ice rink. Or you may pitch pre-loaded iPods to
Apple, Victoria’s Secret teaming up with Race for
the Cure, or your favorite clothing store adding a new line…the
possibilities are endless but there must be some
kind of exchange (money, time, PR, etc.) and you and the
audience need to be from different associations.
You will need to “invent” credibility for yourself to make the
presentation more real (i.e. you can be a
“marketing intern at Harley-Davidson” or the “fundraising
chairperson for the Buskirk-Chumley Theater”). You
will also need to “invent” the context, so make sure the class
fully understands who your specific audience is
and the event/occasion that is hosting your pitch. This is simple
to do at the beginning of the presentation.
Remember, as a speaker, you are in control and get to set the
stage.
Since this presentation is worth many points, I suggest you
select a topic that is interesting and
important to you. Whether your “love” involves baseball,
movies, computers, farming, fashion, investing,
music, or horseback riding, find a way to incorporate it into this
7. presentation.
Learning Objectives
• Demonstrate effective audience analysis and tailored credible
research.
• Use a persuasive strategy that motivates an audience to action.
• Demonstrate control, intention, and mastery in delivery
techniques and Q&A.
• Employ effective visual design throughout slide deck.
Presentation Requirements
• Dress: Business Professional
• Time: 6-7 minutes speaking, up to 5 minutes for Q&A.
• Research: Orally cite 5-7 sources
o 3-4 of these sources must be from the databases discussed on
the C104 Library Guide; by now
you know what good research looks like.
• Organization: There must be a clear theme and I am looking
specifically for the persuasive patterns
discussed in class
• Deliverables Packet: Due in Canvas before class starts on your
presentation day.
o Outline: Submit a one-page outline that clearly indicates each
element we have learned for
effective outlines.

Hello! IU office of international services executives, do you
know the Chinese festival and Chinese culture? For example, do
you know Chinese eat rice dumpling ball which has a sweet
filling covered by sweet rice flour dough, and served in a clear
broth on the 15th day of new year? Do you know there are a lot
of students like Chinese food, but they do not know what is this
and how to make that? Hi! My name is Rui Jiang, a president of
Indiana Chinese social club and my idea is to create a Chinese
festival app in order to let more people know the Chinese
culture.
The world become more diverse and globalized; more people do
business from a country to another country. Understand the
culture from the country is very important. When you are
working with people and building relationships with them, it
helps to have some perspective and the population of China
ranked 1st place compared to all other countries. And the GDP
ranked 2nd in 2019. I will create an app to combine all Chinese
festival with the food related to the culture. when you open the
app, there is a bunch of Chinese festival that you can look at
and when you click on the picture, the culture jump out, at the
bottom, you can also buy some Chinese food related to the
culture on this app. This app also has several discounts and
when you buy the food online, you can also get the gifts related
to the culture.
I will let all members in IUCSSA which is an organization to
help Chinese student in IU. They can help me promote this app
to other Chinese students and foreign students. So that the
Chinese students can deeply understand the culture and the
18. foreign students can know the culture as well.
The market base is the total of customers that use or would be
likely to use a product or a service. For this app is all the IU
student and faculty.
This app is a free download app and after you read the festival,
you can buy food there. The Chinese food is very varied and
delicious. The cost of the food is cheap, and Chinese can make
the simple food to looks very beautiful and tastes delicious.
More people buy it, we will make more revenue.
Culture is like a river that guides, enlightens and educates us;
culture needs people to remember, need everyone to learn, to
progress so follow your heart and choose this app! Thank you,
now it is Q&A time.

19. Intel
Intel is an American multinational corporation founded in the
year 1968 by two American Engineers Gordon Moore and
Robert Noyce. The initial investment for Intel was $2.5 million
dollars arranged by an investor Arthur Rock. The two engineers
both worked at Fairchild semiconductor and after establishing
Intel let with most of its employees.
Intel manufactures devices related to computers like processers,
motherboard chipsets, flash memory, graphic chips and
integrated circuits. The corporation also supplies processors to
big computer manufacturers like Apple Inc, Lenovo, HP and
Dell. Their first products were the micro chip and the first metal
oxide semiconductor. The oxide semiconductor failures led to
better and improved dynamic Random Access Memory chip. The
corporation has been modifying and developing new products
from then to meet a customer base made of computer
manufacturers and individuals. The corporation is well known
for their processors which are found in over 70% of all
computers due to its supply of major computer manufacturers.
Intel Corporation is recognized throughout the world as a
reputable company. Through the years the company has
appeared in Forbes list with the current being in 2019 where
they were named the most reputable companies for efforts in
innovation and governance. (Intel, n.d.). The company is listed
as the 14th most in the Forbes list of world’s most reputable
brands. (Intel, n.d.). There are many awards which show that
Intel Corporation is one of the leading brands in the world. The
awards are also for workforce, ethics and admiration and this is
why I chose Intel Corporation. The company has a rich history
and its thirst for innovation in the computing industry keeps
20. getting bigger every time.
