mission is to restore the sick
to health, to cure as it is
termed.”

3. Explanation:-
<•>Physician :-
• He is a person who has the knowledge of ‘art of
healing’.
• He is the person who knows the laws and
principles of nature and knows how to apply them
in practice.

5. 1. Concept of health
According to Dr.Hahnemann;
Health is a state where all the structures and functions of the body are
in harmony and the patient is not feeling any sort of discomfort.
According to Dr.Stuart close;
Health is that balanced condition of living organism, in which the
integral, harmonious performance of the vital functions tends to the
preservation of the organism and the normal development of the
individual.

6. •Health is the physical, social,
psychological and economical well
being of a person.

7. 2. Concept of Disease
According to Dr.Hahnemann;
Disease is the derangement of the vital force.
According to Dr.Stuart close;
Disease is an abnormal vital process, a changed condition of life, which
is inimical to the true development of the individual and tends to
organic dissolution.

8. •Disease is the disturbance in the
harmonious state of body and mind.

9. 3. Concept of sick
• According to Dr.Hahnemann;
Disturbance of the whole personality, derangement of the vital force is
termed as sick.
• There is no disease but sick people.
• When person falls ill, it is not one part of the body but the entire
human being is suffering.

10. • The derangement starts in the center, in the inner man.
• The derangement or the dynamic disturbance of the vital force is
caused by the inimical forces such as miasms.

11. 4. Concept of cure
• According to Dr.Hahnemann;
Removal of the totality of symptoms is removal of disease
• Cure is the removal of the whole perceptible signs and symptoms of
the disease.
• It is the total annihilation of disease, permanent restoration of the
health by clearly defined and fixed principles as it is termed.
