Might is used to express possibility or make suggestions and requests. It can indicate possibility that something may happen, such as "your phone might be in the kitchen". It is also used in conditional sentences and to make polite suggestions, though this use is more common in British English. Might changes form in the past and future, expressing possibility, suggestions, or requests in various tenses, such as "Peter might have been stuck in traffic" or "you might want to catch a taxi".
