He was born in Maryland and started swimming at age 7, then made his first Olympic team at age 15 in 2000. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Phelps won 8 gold medals, cementing his status as one of the greatest swimmers in history.

Born on June 30,1985,in Towson , Maryland. He was being bullied , hurt someone and got
suspended .His parents got divorced in 1994.He started swimming at age 7

In 2000,age 15, he was recruited onto the first Olympic team! He graduated from
college in 2003.

Micheal Phelps had won 22 gold medals. He is the most decorated Olympian! He won
