TRAINING SUPERVISOR AND MANAGER, 2009 – 2014
Fluor Intercontinental, Inc., Bagram Air Field, Afghanistan
Oversaw training department from concept to completion for multi-billion dollar Fortune 500 company
with 45K employees worldwide. Worked on Fluor Government Group (FGG) Logistics Civil
Augmentation Program (LOGCAP) IV, the company’s largest project. Worked with subject matter experts
and senior management to analyze needs, build and drive training. Supervised 350+ courses developed
in the field.
Accomplishments
 Identified the opportunity to save $1M per year with Computer-Based Training (CBT) with 40+
Leadership, HSE (health, safety and environment), EAP (employee assistance program) and
finance courses. 40K+ modules were completed in the 1st year.
 Computer and kiosk-based CBT reduced training costs and quickly addressed training needs in the
field when classroom and computer resources were limited. Dramatically increased efficiency and
job performance while simultaneously creating automated records to track trends and compliance.
 Built nearly 350 project-specific training resources from self-study guides to instructor-led classes
and CBT. Created and used Learning Management System (LMS) to track and monitor progress.
