Sr. Training Consultant for AF T&D
Operating through the business strategic lens worked as senior training lead consultant across *AmericanFunds
Services Group (AFSG) to align talent strategy, business strategy to increase relevance and footprint. Contributed to
content transformation and implement change management initiatives as architect, broadcaster, and coach to enhance
effective organizational design and learning.
• Developed strategic and cross functional plan to transform and implement instructor led training to new online
self-directed and engaging learning.
o Led multiple large-scale projects, including Instructor Led Training (ILT) conversions to online self-paced
learning. Contributed over 4000 hrs. retooling, rebranding, redeveloping, and redeploying training.
• Served as leadership Center of Excellence (COE) program consultant for continuous improvement and increased
business impact by supporting leaders through easier access to organizational learning. This helped leaders better
understand the cross functional business impacts and helped align their strategy to industry trends.
o Redeployed leadership educational website to support the strategic mindset and skillset enhancement.

Training and Talent Development Manager
Planned and organized a new leadership and development program to help align human capital strategy with business
strategy. Identified and assessed the current state leadership and aligned with organizational strategy. Maintained and
ensured the flow of daily training operations, risk and compliance annual training. Implemented innovative training
strategies and technology to improve workforce knowledge competencies cross-site in Texas and Anaheim.
• Drove leadership performance improvement initiatives by assessing current state leadership, worked with the
executive committee to identify roles to plan and outline the leadership development roadmap.
• Enhanced customer service training onboarding efficiencies that resulted in accelerated Time-To-Proficiency (TTP)
by 40%. Learners were able to perform in their job at a higher competence level than their previous counterparts
while also elevating their confidence level.
• Supported IT leadership with creating a roadmap for technical training. Managed vendor relationships assessed
quality of the programs and kept track of skills and competencies.
• Partnered with regulatory compliance to help mitigate risk through annual required training such as CCPA,
FDCPA, and other types of requirements: IT Safeguarding and Awareness, DE&I initiatives etc.

Learning and Development Manager, C-Level and Business Development Training
Partnered with HR business partners and talent acquisition professionals for talent management and human capital
performance analysis. Used LMS, Salesforce.com, Jive 6 platform (Internal Social Media), Taleo, and LinkedIn training
tools to organize multiple training programs and assist staff in effective learning and development. Conducted business
development pipeline training for over 240 CEOs/per year, including new chair development and chair sustainment
training.
• Served as national online education manager for distance learning program to deliver over 125 webinars per year.
• Increased organizational effectiveness and employee performance by developing new and consistent training and
development programs.
• Acted as trusted learning advisor to 800+ Vistage Chair CEOs in managing learning and development systems
across US, Canada, UK, China, and Australia.
• Submitted Vistage to be ranked amongst the nation’s “Training Magazine TOP 125”. During my tenure as learning
and development manager we ranked 115th
in 2011, Improved to 81st
in 2012 then ranked 57th
