8. Conclusions from study
• 80% of studied units have at least one fault
• 42% of studied units have quantifiable energy inefficiency
• Up to 45% energy savings achievable on some sites
• 10% average quantifiable energy savings possible by simple means
• 246GWh annual energy savings possible across sector in Australia
• Achievable in most cases by basic service/clean and recommissioning
• 100% of studied units used HCFC or HFC refrigerants
