Evaluation
The company uses CSR to solve a social issue by providing jobs to the
disadvantaged
HOWEVER
multiple issues might arise with this
Issues
- People may assume that the company hires ALL disadvantaged. However,
job interviews are still conducted to ensure that they are suitable for the
job.
- The hiring process may be biased. Those who are not disadvantaged but
have trouble finding a job may feel maligned as they might feel that they
cannot get a job because they are not disadvantaged
Final Thoughts
- Spic & Span cares for their employees and society
- Provides employees with higher wages
- Provides skill training
- Increase in wages
- Though others might feel disadvantaged, there are still many jobs in this
industry

CHANGI BUSINESS PARK GIVES (2014-)
The CBP Gives project is grounded on the premise that charity can begin in the workplace and business leaders have
the power to nurture a culture of giving in their organisations. Recognising that individuals have different preferences
on how they wish to give back to the community, the intent of CBP Gives is to provide employees with options on how
to give back to the community in a way that is most meaningful to them. These may be in the form of making
donations-in-kind, skills-based volunteering or making a cash donation.

OUR EVALUATION
- Changi Business Park, does adopt quite a lot of CSR to improve mainly on
social causes around its community and area.
- Mostly donations, fundraisings and social involvement
- Leaving a positive impression to the society and other corporations
- (BUT) in reference to CSR activities to the environment, they are really
lacking.
Conclusion:
Changi Business Park might be able to gain more awareness and partners if they become
more active in CSRs that would concern the environment. Moreover, their social influence
to the community is quite strong. With proper management of money and resources,
Changi Business Park can prolong and strengthen their CSR initiative impacts.

OUR EVALUATION - Changi Business Park, does adopt quite a lot of CSR to improve mainly on social causes around its community and area. - Mostly donations, fundraisings and social involvement - Leaving a positive impression to the society and other corporations - (BUT) in reference to CSR activities to the environment, they are really lacking. Conclusion: Changi Business Park might be able to gain more awareness and partners if they become more active in CSRs that would concern the environment. Moreover, their social influence to the community is quite strong. With proper management of money and resources, Changi Business Park can prolong and strengthen their CSR initiative impacts.
