Personalized search refers to search experiences that are tailored specifically to an individual's interests by incorporating information about the individual beyond specific query provided. Especially people working in a software development organization (analysts, developers, testers, maintenance team members), find it increasingly difficult to get relevant results to their searches. We propose methods to personalize searches by resolving the ambiguity of query terms, and increase the relevance of search results in order to match the user’s interests. Difficulty in web searches has given rise to the need for development of personalized search engines. Personalized search engines create user profiles to capture the users’ personal preferences and as such identify the actual goal of the input query. Since users are usually reluctant to explicitly provide their preferences due to the extra manual effort involved, the search engine faces the entire burden of predicting the user’s preferences and intentions behind a query in order to yield more relevant search results. In this paper we define a QUEST to be the objective of user’s search; here we combine quest level analysis of user’s search logs and semantic analysis of the user’s query in order to personalize user’s search results. Most personalization methods focus on the creation of one single profile for a user and apply the same profile to all of the user’s queries. Hence we propose a personalized search for a software development organization by creating QUEST or domain based profile rather than individual user based profile.
The web has become a resourceful tool for almost all domains today. Search engines prominently use
inverted indexing technique to locate the web pages having the users query. The performance of inverted
index fundamentally depends upon the searching of keyword in the list maintained by search engine. Text
matching is done with the help of string matching algorithm. It is important to any string matching
algorithm to locate quickly the occurrences of the user specified pattern in large text. In this paper a new
string matching algorithm for keyword searching is proposed. The proposed algorithm relies on new
technique based on pattern length and FML (First-Middle-Last) character match. This proposed
algorithm is analysed and implemented. The extensive testing and comparisons are done with BoyerMoore, Naïve, Improved Naïve, Horspool and Zhu Takaoka. The result shows that the proposed
algorithm takes less time than other existing algorithm.

Ranking and optimization of web service compositions represent challenging areas of research with significant implication for realization of the "Web of Services" vision. The semantic web, where the semantics information is indicated using machine-process able language such as the Web Ontology Language (OWL) "Semantic web service" use formal semantic description of web service functionality and enable automated reasoning over web service compositions. These semantic web services can then be automatically discovered, composed into more complex services, and executed. Automating web service composition through the use of semantic technologies calculating the semantic similarities between outputs and inputs of connected constituent services, and aggregate these values into a measure of semantics quality for the composition. It propose a novel and extensible model balancing the new dimensions of semantic quality ( as a functional quality metric) with QoS metric, and using them together as a ranking and optimization criteria. It also demonstrates the utility of Genetic Algorithms to allow optimization within the context of a large number of services foreseen by the "Web of Service" vision. To reduce the semantics of the web documents then to support semantic document retrieval by using Network Ontology Language (NOL) and to improve QoS as a ranking and optimization.

The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.

3. Introduction:
Meta search engines are search engines that search other search engines.
A meta search engine submits your query to several other search engines and
returns a summary of the results.
Therefore, the search results you receive are an aggregate result of multiple
searches.
In Meta search engines search strategy have a broader scope than searching
a single search engine.
The meta search engine must use its own algorithm to choose the best
results from multiple search engines.
4. Meta-Search Engines search and index the contents of other search
engines rather than searching the WWW directly. A meta-search engine
sends your request to other search engines, collects the most relevant
hits, and presents them to you.
Meta-search engines allow you to search a variety of search engines
without having to visit each one individually.
.Meta-search engines are good places to start a search because they
can give you a general feeling for the body of information and websites
available to you on a given topic.
A Meta search engine is a system that supports unified access to
multiple local search engines; it does not maintain its own index on
web pages .

engines find files that contain a key word or words typed in by the user. Some

You can get results from multiple search engines without having to visit
each one. It gives your search a broader scope to look at, since each
search engine's index differs from each others.
You get a general sense of what is available on a subject.
They are good for "fast and dirty" searching, where you need to get some
kind of basic result quickly.

May need to decode query forms.
Translations of query syntax and fields not exact.
Some sources don't sort by relevance.
No way to compare relevance.
Vulnerable to search spam.
Results returned as HTML without useful tagging, require screen scrapping.
Variable quality of search engines.
Must keep up with changes in source engines.
You usually get a small subset of the possible relevant records on individual search
engines.
Not all of the search syntax (functions, operators, etc.) is supported for each
search engine. In other words, a metasearch engine usually does not or can not use
the full sophisticated capabilites of each search engine employed.
22. Conclusion:
A Meta search engine is a search tool that sends user requests to several other
search engines and/or databases and aggregates the results into a single list or
displays them according to their source. Meta search engines enable users to enter
search criteria once and access several search engines simultaneously.
Meta search engines operate on the premise that the Web is too large for any one
search engine to index it all and that more comprehensive search results can be
obtained by combining the results from several search engines. This also may save
the user from having to use multiple search engines separately. The process of
fusion also improves the search results. We discussed several meta search engines
and its feature as same as all meta search engines have their own advantages and
limitations. Apart from this meta search engines are very need and helpfull to find
right information from right sources through right way.
