5 Tactics
To Winning
The Mental
Motivation Battle
This presentation is a part of the
“Diary of a Female Over-Achiever”
Empowerment series
1. Never mind that you're
not this or that.
It all begins with little excuses like
“I don’t feel good”, “I am not that
smart”, “I don't have enough faith
in myself”. Then we start believing
in these things like they are written
in stone, and then these negative
beliefs become a part of our
system, a part of whom we are.
Let’s forget about what we are
not... And start focusing on what
we ARE.
2. Don’t give a
second's worth of
recognition on these
negative self-talks.

Whenever we hear that
part of our brain tell us
things that can pull us
down, we have to make the
effort to shut it out and
listen to that less powerful,
but oftentimes ignored
voice that says “we can!”
3. Try to have a little faith
- In ourselves, in what we can do, and the things we believe in

It doesn't matter if we fail;
everyone goes through that
hurtful process. What matters
is that every time we do, we
bounce back, rebuild, and
give the world a better us.
4. Be very careful when choosing sides.
We can either talk ourselves
into doing the task or not,
which means we can either
be a part of success that one
part of our head says we can
be, or take part in the
downfall the other side of
our head tries to go to. We
have to always take that
side of our brain that
believes in our dreams, that
cares about our well being,
and pushes us to be the
person we are trying to be.
If we don’t dream big, we would stay forever in that nook of the world where
everything is mediocre, where sense of achievement is an abstract concept, and
where success is all but inexistent.

5. Dream BIG

Big dreams inspire. It makes people work harder, with even more passion. What
would happen to people if they have nothing to shoot for? Nothing. If there are
no Olympic medals and several hundred Olympians to compete against, the
champions will never exist. If Mount Everest is not the highest mountain, there
will be no mountaineers and hikers who struggle everyday to reach the peak.
