This short document discusses memes and how they spread from person to person similar to how genes propagate through reproduction. It references Richard Dawkins' theory from his 1976 book The Selfish Gene that proposed the idea of memes as basic units of cultural transmission that spread via imitation from one person's brain to another, just as genes spread biologically from body to body.
