Mediref aims to revolutionize written communication between health professionals by creating a secure mobile platform for referrals, reports, histories, and other correspondence. It addresses problems with the current fragmented and inefficient systems by allowing all relevant parties to be updated instantly in a paperless, time-saving manner. This improves patient care through seamless collaboration and eliminates issues like lost paperwork, insecure emailing of sensitive data, high costs, and "no-show" patients falling through the cracks. The founders have relevant experience and a strong team is in place to technically develop the platform according to medical privacy and legal standards.
