To help other? Is it in your honest interest? The salary
and pay?
• How are you going to receive the education & training for your
career?
What is the cost of the education you need? How and
where will you get it?
• Where Do You Want To Work?
How far will your workplace be? How will you get there?
Is it worth the time and expenses?

• Orthodontist

Pediatricians are specialized medical doctors
emphasizing on infants and children
Pros:
• Demand for pediatricians is very high.
• Helping infants/children and parents with
child-specific health problems.
• Taking action & making decisions that change
and better the lives of your patients from the
infant stage up until adulthood.

Cons:
You must be a very good communicator, and be able
to deal with children in a nice and playful manner at
all times or during procedures.
This is a career that obliges long hours, generally
responding to emergencies outside of standard
working hours.

7. Dental Hygienist
Dental Hygienists check for any “oral diseases”; they
clean/eliminate any impurities from teeth. They also
work with x-rays & inform their patients on good
oral health (hygiene).
Dental hygienists use a variety of tools, they use their
hands to work on the patient, but they use powered
tools as well. They may also work with ultrasonic
devices & take/develop x-rays with x-rays machines.

of the week.
They work in pleasant environments
Job availability is expected to grow by the time you are ready to work in this

They get health insurance and retirement plans

Cons:
38% Graduated Dental Hygienist get hired per year.
Have to deal with certain people’s poor dental hygiene
Dental hygienists have to be careful & have good hands, working on the
mouth with delicate tools. You must also know how to work with large
machinery & how to operate and run the machines/tools.

Forensic scientists analyze physical evidence they receive
from police, and make reports describing the results of
their analysis. Those documents, along with forensic
scientists’ expert testimony, are significant for convicting
the accused.
Job activities very much depend on the area of forensics in
which you work. The main areas are:
chemistry, which is connected to crimes against
property, such as burglary and arson;
biology, which is connected to crimes against
people, such as murder, assault and rape;
drugs and toxicology.

Forensic Scientist usually work hands on:
Forensic scientists work in the offices and
laboratories .
They also work out in the field attending crime
scenes.
They may be exposed to unpleasant or disturbing
situations, and may be exposed to bodily fluids, fire
arms, explosives, or chemical hazards.
Forensic scientists travel attend crime scenes or
court cases. They usually work regular hours, but
may be called to crime scenes at any time of the day
or night.

Forensic Odontology: the study of the structure,
development, and abnormalities of teeth
Forensic Nursing: helping victims of sexual assault
Forensic Chemistry: the study of the properties of matter,
including structure and interactions
Forensic Toxicology: the study of poisons
Forensic Anthropology: the study of the human body and
social relationships
