The job roles performed by the author included correspondent and cameraman. As correspondent, they reported on their school's activities. They also took photos as cameraman. During pre-production, the author was director but passed this role to another student. In post-production, the author provided input and had the idea to use a rolling camera motion for the introduction. Research included background research on a TV show that inspired their work. Production skills developed included filming techniques and basic video editing in iMovie. The work met the brief of focusing on a topic relevant to youth and including humor and young presenters.

1. Job roles
The job roles I performed were the correspondent and some points I was the cameraman and
I gone out and took pictures of our Reece’s sites. During pre-production I was the director but
then I passed on that job role to another member of my group (Tergel). During postproduction I was the job above in my personal view I was a good correspondent and a good
cameraman. I also had good input during post-production for example I had the idea to have
our tripod on a rolling back motion for our introduction I was the camera man at that point.
Miss molyneux also told me that my dedication to my group roles was good and I enjoyed the
out come of my work. I regret not doing the editing or trying it out or the logo creating I didn’t
really do any computer work I was mostly done hands on work I would like to do editing in the
future
Research skills
I conducted research about the one show which was our inspiration our show we we’re
imitating. The type of research I conducted is background research one the one show this
research was help full because it contained helpful advice like shot types and how you’re
supposed to react and the questions you should ask. I done primary research and secondary
research
Production skills
The production skills I developed was filming because I learned how to film in a moving
motion and Imovie I cut some of the video I didn’t do barely any editing in our group e had
different roles and didn’t cross roles we only crossed over if it was really needed and we split
of into the practical group and the computer I was on the practical group e.g. the filming the
asking people and the communication
Meeting the brief
The first example is the subject, it has to do with something that youth has to deal with until
the hit six-form and then they might have to deal with it when they go to work, which is
uniform the second example is that it has humor this is a major asset in a young fan based
show the third example is that it is hosed by young people so this helps the target audience
relate to the topic and the presenters.
Conventions of a report show
We used a presenter, a correspondent, we had cutaways, cameraman, voxpops, sign on,
sign off, and cross cutting interviews there are more conventions but we didn’t put them in our
magazine show because we didn’t have time we were missing Astons, voice over
Technical finish
I think the final finish was exceptional I put in a lot of hard work I think the perfect amount of
work came out I would of liked it to be better but that’s only possible If the group put in more
effort so than it would have been better but it was sufficient towards the time we put into the
project
