How did you attract/address your
          audience?
Who is our target audience?
• Our target audience young adults aged 16-21
consisting of many different groups of people.
How we attracted our target audience
• Our opening sequence consists of no plot, just several shots of strings and cans.
Most the shots are quite empty to ensure the tent idea isn’t exploited.
• Our storyline consists of a end of the world apocalypse idea. Our target audience
ages 16-21 thriller and action watches, would be attracted to our film because the
storyline is similar the films such as I am Legend and 28 Days Later.
• The way we presented our title is also in a comparable way to how I am legend’s
title is presented. For the audience who might have seen our title might think that
the story's may be similar and this may attract our audience.
• Both of the title are very plane. The white writing on the black background creates
     a memorable finish.
The Setting
• The scenery of out shots is unusual because we have placed a tent inside of a main
hall which appears a mystery to the audience and allow them to start thinking why
    there is a tent there.
• At the beginning we give no indication that the tent is inside, and when the main
character unzips the tent and steps out into the main hall the audience isn't
expecting it and begins to ask questions.
• The screen grab on the right which shows Adam (the main character) standing out
side of the tent and this shot, allows the audience to see the whole set, which
consists of the boarded up windows and string traps attached to the tent. These
utilise the idea that the character is in hide out and has isolated him self from the
    outside world.
• Also all the debry situated around the tent potrayed the idea that the man has
been living in the tent inside the house for a long time, which makes the audience
    what to know why.
Camera Work

• During the first few opening shots they are presented in a slow plain form, this is
to make the audience unsure of what they are seeing and to allow the audiences
to start asking questions in their head about what they can see on the screen.
• The shots below were presented with movement. The Title with adam grant was
moving alone attached to the string, this can be seen as if the string is leaving the
    audience to somewhere.
Visually interesting shots
The door handle shot at the end of the sequence creates a thrill which an audience
enjoys, because the audience doesn’t know what is going to happen and doesn’t
know what is on the other side of the door. Also because there is no music or
soundtrack during the sequence the eerie sound of the door handle stands out and
the audience isn’t expecting it. This could attract our target audience because they
know that the character is hiding from something and this shot would want to make
them find out what happens next.

The shot of the bell with a faint image of the tent in the background is shown before
the man gets out of the tent, however the audience would have noticed it is a tent.
The use of the bells is effective because the audience wont have noticed that the bell
is arts of the string traps. This makes it more effective when the long shot is shown
and you can see all the different before shots but together. These shots attract the
audience because they show Adam the character trying to hide and at the same time
catch something, which makes the audience more intreged.
