his artistic energies and is where you can buy
tour tickets, look at previous collections of
his clothing line, buy his new clothing and is
linked to the rest of his social media.

was to promote Flower Boy, it features
heavily a pastel color palette like his other
work.
WHAT IS A MUSIC CAMPAIGN?
A music campaign is a set of marketing procedures and operations
intended to promote and increase sales of an album, artist or single.
WHAT GENRE IS TYLER, THE
CREATOR?
Tyler, The Creator could easily pass for an indie singer with his very LA
aesthetic of sunflowers and happiness but his wild energy and rawness
allows for people to see that he is more of a hip-hop artist.
WHO IS HIS TARGET AUDIENCE?
Tyler, The Creator’s target audience is teenagers ranging from 15-25 as
his music is very energetic and youthful and talks about growing up,
fining love and having fun. He has a very die-hard fanbase that has
evolved as his music evolved from being violent and grungy to more
happy, positive and colorful.
DOES HE HAVE A USP?
What sells Tyler to most people is his sheer level of talent and
creativity. He is a great producer, writer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist,
actor and director and handles nearly all of his creative direction by
himself. He is also very unique, mixing lo-fi, hip-hop and Neptunes-
inspired sounds in his music. He also has a very wild personality that
has gotten him a lot of bad publicity in the past but is very lovable now.
HOW DO THE THREE PROJECTS
LINK? AND WHAT’S SIMILAR?
Tyler is a master of iconography and imagery and incorporates a lot of
elements from all his work into each other making one solid product. In
his recent work, there is a clear link in the positivity he’s channeling,
from rainbows, bees, flowers and nice cars all being prominent on his
website, music videos and album cover.
WHAT IS THE IDEOLOGY OF THE
ARTIST?
Tyler’s ideology is sparking creativity and inspiring people that were his
age when he started in music to just do what they want and be a good
person and being yourself is very important. Some other common
themes is a straight dichotomy to his previous work, which is
embracing your sexuality as he once had very homophobic messages in
his music until he revealed that he too, was gay.
DYER’S THEORY
Dyer’s Theory suggests that artists are different from the image they
project and show to the world and this may be possible for Tyler as his
image before his recent albums were a wild, crazed teen with violent
lyrics and unpredictable nature but it was only revealed in this album in
such a nice package, that in fact he is in love with men.
IS IT SUCCESFUL?
It was successful as Tyler, The Creator’s last album was certified gold,
his annual festival CAMP FLOG GNAW’s pre-sale tickets sold out in 12
hours, he also gained about 1.5M followers on Twitter and 2M on
Instagram, the album was also nominated for ‘Best Hip-Hop Album of
2017” by The Grammys, which came to no surprise as the album had
rave reviews that were very positive.

  • 5. WHAT IS A MUSIC CAMPAIGN? A music campaign is a set of marketing procedures and operations intended to promote and increase sales of an album, artist or single.
  • 6. WHAT GENRE IS TYLER, THE CREATOR? Tyler, The Creator could easily pass for an indie singer with his very LA aesthetic of sunflowers and happiness but his wild energy and rawness allows for people to see that he is more of a hip-hop artist.

Tyler, The Creator’s target audience is teenagers ranging from 15-25 as his music is very energetic and youthful and talks about growing up, fining love and having fun. He has a very die-hard fanbase that has evolved as his music evolved from being violent and grungy to more happy, positive and colorful.

He is a great producer, writer, rapper, multi-instrumentalist, actor and director and handles nearly all of his creative direction by himself. He also has a very wild personality that has gotten him a lot of bad publicity in the past but is very lovable now.

In his recent work, there is a clear link in the positivity he’s channeling, from rainbows, bees, flowers and nice cars all being prominent on his website, music videos and album cover.

Tyler’s ideology is sparking creativity and inspiring people that were his age when he started in music to just do what they want and be a good person and being yourself is very important. Some other common themes is a straight dichotomy to his previous work, which is embracing your sexuality as he once had very homophobic messages in his music until he revealed that he too, was gay.

DYER’S THEORY Dyer’s Theory suggests that artists are different from the image they project and show to the world and this may be possible for Tyler as his image before his recent albums were a wild, crazed teen with violent lyrics and unpredictable nature but it was only revealed in this album in such a nice package, that in fact he is in love with men.

It was successful as Tyler, The Creator’s last album was certified gold, his annual festival CAMP FLOG GNAW’s pre-sale tickets sold out in 12 hours, he also gained about 1.5M followers on Twitter and 2M on Instagram, the album was also nominated for ‘Best Hip-Hop Album of 2017” by The Grammys, which came to no surprise as the album had rave reviews that were very positive.
