Robotics & Automation is an essential part of today’s
life. Majority of the industrial tasks are automated.
Robots has acquired the place & positions from space
to industrial tasks to kitchen to services. PLC, HMI,
SCADA & drives are four pillars of automation. Hard
wired automation has shifted to PLC controlled
automation. Safety & security of an automated
system are two primary tasks. Robotics and
Automation deals with manufacturing and
applications of robot systems for control, sensory
feedback, and physical assistance to reduce the need
for human effort/work.

pursued after 10+2.
The Candidate should have passed 10+2
examination with Physics, Mathematics and
English as compulsory subjects along with
one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/
Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
Obtained at least 60% marks (40% in case
of candidates belonging to reserved
category) in the above subjects taken
together
Or
Passed Diploma examination with at least
60% marks (40% in case of candidates
belonging to reserved category), subject to
vacancies in the First Year, in case the
vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
