Eseune Business School takes its MBA students to China for full immersion with its business environment. The activities take place not only in the classroom. Students have direct contact with Chinese and International organizations while visiting and doing internships. In order to understand some of China’s long history, students carry out activities at some of its main tourist venues.
This presentation was used for the preparation class of an activity carried out at the Great Wall. Students learned some China’s history while experiencing some tourism at Mutianyu Great Wall. They exchanged ideas with local Chinese people while developing their communication skills in a Chinese environment. Last, they contributed with some bags to try to help to keep the National Park clean and tidy.

Today I spoke at the CASE (Council of Administrators of Special Education) conference. I was thrilled to have been asked to be a part of this conference and very much enjoyed sharing the exciting things that have been happening in Coquitlam. I based most of what I said on my "How UDL has changed my job" post and my "UDL Success" post. The most important messages I wanted people to take from my presentation were:
~Our appreciation to the vision of the Ministry of Education and SET BC for their role in bringing the UDL movement to BC. We are very excited to be a part of this shift in paradigm.
~That the timing of this project is perfectly timed with a change in the questions educators are asking about technology. In the past educators questioned "why" and "should we" use technology in education. Now educators are asking "what?" and "how?". Universal Design for Learning provides a framework within which teachers can make informed decisions about the use of technological tools to help students succeed at school
~The progress our students have made since we began the project and what we believe to be the reason for their success.

Enterprise Excellence is Inclusive Excellence.pdfKaiNexus
Enterprise excellence and inclusive excellence are closely linked, and real-world challenges have shown that both are essential to the success of any organization. To achieve enterprise excellence, organizations must focus on improving their operations and processes while creating an inclusive environment that engages everyone. In this interactive session, the facilitator will highlight commonly established business practices and how they limit our ability to engage everyone every day. More importantly, though, participants will likely gain increased awareness of what we can do differently to maximize enterprise excellence through deliberate inclusion.
What is Enterprise Excellence?
Enterprise Excellence is a holistic approach that's aimed at achieving world-class performance across all aspects of the organization.
What might I learn?
A way to engage all in creating Inclusive Excellence. Lessons from the US military and their parallels to the story of Harry Potter. How belt systems and CI teams can destroy inclusive practices. How leadership language invites people to the party. There are three things leaders can do to engage everyone every day: maximizing psychological safety to create environments where folks learn, contribute, and challenge the status quo.
Who might benefit? Anyone and everyone leading folks from the shop floor to top floor.

RMD24 | Debunking the non-endemic revenue myth Marvin Vacquier Droop | First ...BBPMedia1
