The Great Wall of China is a massive defensive structure located in northern China that is 15-30 feet wide and 25 feet tall, constructed over 2000 years ago under the first Emperor of China, Qin Shi Haung, from bricks, rocks, and stones to defend against invaders from Mongolia. It remains visible today as one of the largest construction projects ever built.
