was celebrated on June

Students donated saplings to the
public depicting the concept of
afforestation.

On account of World Blood Donor’s Day, (14 June), volunteers
were called to donate blood. The camp was organised with the help
of Medical team from Govt. Hospital Sirkali and Dr. N. Sivakumar
M.D. General Medicine,
graced the event. The members of Heritage club
organised the event in a successful manner. Around 40 units of
blood was donated.

International Yoga Day is observed on 21 June to raise awareness
about this ancient practice and to celebrate the physical and
spiritual powers that yoga has brought to
the world. Moreover, this day is the
longest day of the year also known as the
summer solstice. We at AJA,
Mayiladuthurai celebrated International
Yoga Day with great enthusiasm. A
special assembly on the theme 'YOGA ON
HUMANITY' was organized by Sports
Club. Program was conducted by the student of grade XII, wherein
they dramatized the significance of yoga.
Yoga Pyramid and various asana symbols like

PADAHASTASANA were made zestfully by
the students Digital team also presented
beautifully designed e-posters depicting the
benefits of yoga.

5. Class Room Activities of the month
Flow Chart Using Flash Card
Enrichment activity was conducted in class 7. Based on the topic “Tracing changes towards
thousand years” in history. Using flash cards depicting various historical changes, was organised
as flow chart upon competition of group activity children has explained the concept and thus
learning outcomes was attained.

things for them. Being loved is one
of the most special feelings in the
world. Secondly, it makes the
person mature. We all wait for our
birthday every day as we get older
and gain a sense of maturity every
year.
The time when all parents reflect
on how quickly the year has gone,
a child's first birthday is one of the
most special anniversaries in life.
Having already achieved so much
in their first short year, they've
developed their own little
personality and will love the thrill.

Food drives are popular fund raiser these days, and for good reason! By giving away food
we get more strength. Here our school students were donating the food on their birthday
for our non- teaching staff as noble cause, instead of distributing chocolates and gifts.

Extra curricular activities helps students to learn about
themselves, develop and use their skills and knowledge in
different conteacts. In our school’s curriculum, we develop the

Our school canteen is very well
equipped. One can buy almost every
kind of snack there, like samosas,
chips, sandwiches, sweet, cakes etc.
They are prepared in a very hygienic

ovens to keep the food warm.
