Dearwellwishers,
Our Mission at AJA is to
provide a safe and
secure environment in
which every student will
acquire the skills and
knowledge necessary
t o b e c o m e

productive members of
theever-changing,globalcommunity.
We understand the importance of student's
involvement in their school activities for greater
academic achievement. AJA offers a number of
opportunities for students to get involved outside of
the classroom through sports, clubs, and community
service.
We would expect that you venture beyond your
“comfort zones” both inside and outside the
classroom. Once again, welcome to the AJA family
to share our principles and values. Wish you happy,
healthy,andfruitfulyearsahead
AJA provides a stimulating
and enriched environment
so that the children can
enjoy all aspects of their
learning. We value regular
contact with parents/
guardians, and regard the
home- school partnership
as an essential part of the education process. We
are always looking for new ways to involve parents
in the life of the school and to keep them informed
ofthethingswearedoing.
No education is worth if it does not prepare the

develop sensitivity towards social needs and
responsibilities. It is not surprising, therefore, that
our students are constantly engaged in activities
relating to environmental protection, needs of the
elderly, connecting across the boundaries and
campaigningagainstsocialevils.
I wish you a great experience in parenting, a
healthy and cooperative relationship with the

MydearStudents,Each
Person holds much
p o w e r w i t h i n
themselves that needs
tobeletout.Sometimes
they just need a little
nudge, a little direction,
a little support, a little coaching, where
thegreatestthingscanhappen.
Success for all students is ensured at our school by the
delivery of an enriching, child centred, balanced and
structured curriculum and a Teachers at AJA who are
committed to supporting each student's learning
experience through quality instruction and guidance that
addresses the needs of the individual child. Teachers
work to provide students with differentiated support that
addresseachstudent'sspecificneedsbothacademicallyandsocially.
I, personally believe that an education system that develops the
imagination of the child is richer than the one that does not.The imagination
is where new ideas are created and progress becomes possible.
“Imagination is more important than knowledge” because knowledge is
about what we already know, whereas imagination is what moves
individualsandculturesforward.Imaginationleadstoinnovation.
Alagu Jothy Academy plays a crucial role in
shaping a child's future. We are not only
inculcating the provision of education and
learning, but also moulding the character,
morals, and value system of the child as well.
AJA provides the foundation needed to view
the world as a limitless space providing
innumerableopportunitiestoshine.
We believe that all children can learn and commit to nurturing the
potential in each child. We focus on contextual learning based on a
constructivist theory of teaching & learning to provide techniques
such as problem-solving, learning by doing & inquiry-based learning
activities. Our teachers help students to test their ideas, draw
conclusions & inferences in a collaborative learning environment
which transforms the students to become active participants in the
learningprocess.
Our teachers are professionally equipped to develop adapt and
modify curriculum content, pedagogy & assessment which suit the
needs and aspirations of our students. We work towards a holistic,
experiential, integrated, student-centered educational system that
helps to improve the creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving
skills of our young learners to equip them for the ever-changing
employment dynamics and global ecosystems. We educate our
children to change the world through peace, empathy, and fraternity
andplacegreatemphasisoninnervalues.
Today we are living in a
fast changing complex
society,whichpresents
before us challenges
a s w e l l a s
opportunities. In this
context it all depends
oneveryindividualhow
one responds to the situation with the right
mindset. I remember the words of Benjamin
Disraeli,
“Nurture your mind with great thoughts, for
youwillnevergoanyhigherthanyouthink.”
Indeed, we need better education to have
better thoughts, to be better human
persons, to build a better society. I firmly
believe that every human being endowed
with various talents and skills is a precious
gift of God. I am very pleased to bring to
your notice that ALAGU JOTHI ACADEMY
is the place which provides ample
opportunities along with a value based
wholesome quality education to nurture the
innerpotentialsofeverychild.
