3. Dominic
Dominic has a Ph.D. in Chemistry and is an experienced tutor who teaches
from GCSE up to A level. He finds it important to build students’ confidence
and develop their independent learning skills and believes this is key to
helping them excel in their exams. He makes lessons engaging and
interesting, whilst also emphasizing the importance of exam technique.
He is able to identify his students’ strengths and weaknesses quickly and
efficiently, which allows him to tailor his lessons to their needs. He enjoys
bringing science to life and ensuring that his students are interested in what
they are learning. He can also help them to understand complex topics and
develop their analytical reasoning skills.

4. Whether they’re learning about the periodic table of elements, analyzing the
effects of climate change on our planet, or constructing models of cells, Dominic
finds it vital to make science exciting and relevant for his students. A large part of
this is down to the fact that he believes his students learn best when they’re
engaged and enthusiastic about what they’re doing, and this is something that
he tries to foster in every lesson.
His favorite part of the job is watching his students progress and succeed,
particularly as they move on to higher education or employment. He particularly
loves working with students who struggle with science, as he knows that if they
can be taught in a way that suits them, they’re more likely to thrive.

5. Greg
Greg is a science tutor that specializes in math and science. He has
experience teaching at the University Center for Academic Excellence in
Charlotte, and he also worked as an engineer for Pfizer. He is passionate about
helping students reach their goals and is committed to fostering a positive
learning environment.
He is proficient in several different teaching methods, including using a hands-
on approach to learning. He is able to simplify content and illustrate concepts.
He can also gauge student comprehension throughout the tutoring process. He
has an undergraduate degree in English and secondary education from UNC
Charlotte, and he is a certified teacher in North Carolina.

6. Educated to postgraduate level with BA Hons and MA Classics, as well as an MTL
in Latin teaching, he is experienced in all levels of tuition and has been a head of
classics at various schools. He teaches Latin and Ancient Greek to pupils of all
ages, and is familiar with preparing students for Common Entrance and Scholarship
examinations, as well as GCSE and A Level.
His students have seen an average of a 200 point improvement on their SAT
scores. He is also skilled in helping students with their chemistry and biology
