1. The materials and visual assignment was fun. I got to design a poster that would help with visual
instruction in a classoom. This assignment I enjoyed because of the freedom we had with it. I
could use this assignment in my classroom to help kids learn as they created the poster. Kids like
crafts, and anything of the sort. The kids could form small groups and discuss the projects as
they performed it. This assignment would fall under project based learning and critical thinking
pillars. This could be done or looked at either way. I think that by having the kids to do several
posters the assignment could be improved. The tri-board would be easy and good to use for this
assignment. There is not anything I would eliminate. I would, however, expand on the materials
used to gather to create the posters. The kids could also write a paragraph about their posters
to explain everything that they may want to say.
