I was employed in the position of Loss Prevention Risk Manager for Denim Enterprises, operating the G-StarConcept
stores within Australia from January 2012 throughtoApril2015
Julie Miller has been employed within the businessfor three years in management, atthe prominent Brisbane City
location. As part of my role, I interacted frequently with the Store Management teams on mattersof Risk and Loss
Prevention Management.
I haveworked closely with Julie for just over two yearsand it gives me great pleasure to provideyou with this
reference for her.
Julie commenced work with Denim Enterprisesas a casualin 2012 atour Chermside store.
During her time as casual, Julie demonstratedastrongwork ethic andcommitment. Her dependability andcustomer
engagementstoodout amongstothers, and asa result of her efforts, she was sort by the business to take up a full
time managementposition.
Julie was appointedto the positionof AssistantManagerat our Brisbane storein December of 2013.
It was duringthis time that I commenceddirect communicationwithJulie as her role had a reportingrelationship to
mine.
Julie’s role as AssistantManager is notonly customerservice, butalso the administrationofweekly routines, checks
andbalances with cashand inventory.
During the pasttwo years, I attendedthe store on several occasionsto complete businessauditsandstocktake.
Stocktakewas always a pleasure tocomplete at the store, as Julie always ensured the store was exceptional prepared,
which ensured a smooth stocktakeprocess.
Operationally the store hasconstantly achieved anabove average auditrating anda low shrinkageresult, with all
operationaltasks completed ontime. Julie has direct influence andaccountability in these areas.
Banking, cashcontrols and inventory managementare well controlled underJulie’s administrationandshe always
communicatesconcerns/ issueson timely basis, togetherwith her solutions.
Julie providesenormoussupporttoher line managerand store team, and has on occasionsmanagedthe store
extended periodsduring the absence of her store manager.
During the pasttwo years, I worked closely with Julie on several sensitive businessmatters, andI was able to relay
uponJulie for assistanceandguidance which enable usworking as a team tobring these matters toa close anda
successful outcomefor the business.
