Good Afternoon everyone. So, today we will be welcoming you to our chosen industry which business name is Tanglad
Valencia under the food industry but first things first. I am Joshua D. Hortilano and ____ this is our report.
The food and beverage industry is vital to the global economy, but in a society increasingly concerned with sustainable
development, it is facing new challenges. The entrepreneur who co-owned Tanglad Valencia, a well known establishment
in Valencia city.
Ma’am Levella Lin a businesswomen herself whose company provides catering services, located at Bamboo Spring Park, P-
2 Alkuino Compound, Valencia City, Bukidnon. Tanglad Valencia Bamboo Spring Park is a place where people want to go
beat the heat of the summer and hold parties like birthdays, thanksgiving, or any events. Ma’am Levella Lin is a graduate of
Bachelor of Science in Food Technnology and she work as a Teacher before and then she quit to build her business together
with her partner. Her business is running well and it is currently 10 years from now and she never exactly mentioned when
it all started but as we can see to it, her business is successfully running up to this days and that mostly of us already heard
or know tanglad Valencia.
During that time we are requesting permission to interview her. We assured her that it would not take up a lot of their time
because they were busy planning an event, yet we were so lucky to have her participate in this activity.
During the interview, Ma’am Levilla Lin displayed some traits typical of stable and successful entrepreneurs. These qualities
are what have kept her afloat over the years that she has co owned the business with her partners. This time she revealed
several traits. First things first, is a Risk Taker despite not knowing the result she had the guts to launch a business and leave
her well paying position as a teacher. Given the uncertainty of the business environment, this traits qualified her as a risk
taker. Another trait that was revealed in the interview was optimism, the company has faced a few obstacles but Ma’am
levella Lin and her partner have always maintained their optimism that they will succeed despite the obstacles. And another
trait of her is determined. She manage to overcome any problem and used that situation motivates her and continue what
she was doing. Next is God Fearing, she believes that God was he Center of all her success that everything she had , she
owes from God and lastly passion, which drove her into that career that still growing up to this days.
The Challenges that ma’am Levilla Lin encountered was the pandemic, unsatisfied or mean customers and profit. However,
they managely coped up with this problem by posting there product in there facebook page, following current trends, and
offers the eat all you can and food delivery services.
So no matter what we do. We must never forget God and have faith on him because for him nothing is impossible. And that
he will give you, you want but through unexpected ways.
Experiencing this activity impacted a lot in terms of time methods in handling an interview through an entrepreneurs. It
made us realize not only just one but so many things.
We or Me and my partner learned that patience could lead you to a successful result which you were not expected to
happen. Learn From Failure. Failure can be good at teaching us things that we didn’t know to ourselves but what’s important
is, know our priorities are, learn and grow from it. Never Give Up. It is the attitude that one should carry and live your life,
no matter what the situation is. Risk Taker. Trying out potential opportunities and strategies that may help you build or
grow. Oppurtunity Seeker. a person that does not wait for oppurtunity to appear, but creates one and sees others as they
come. Passion. In having a business you would put yourself into situation that you are passionate about, that you are happy
and love of what you are doing.
We also discovered during this interview that anyone with a basic knowledge of business can start their own business. To
launch and run a business you don’t need a degree as long as you are competent to operate in the environment and
understand how to handle it then you will be successful in meeting the needs of their clients.
