Three new inmates arrive at cell block 33 and are greeted by the guard, Mr. Watson. While Watson gives them an introduction, one inmate named Rajan is daydreaming. The gang leader, Carla, then intimidates the new inmates and asserts that she is in charge of the cell block. She threatens the new inmates and demands that they understand she rules the territory. The frightened new inmates agree to Carla's demands, and she and her gang then leave the area.

1. Scene 1- New Arrival
(Guard 1 and guard enter with the 3 newbies)
Mr.M.watson : Alright lady’s welcome to cell block 33 , im Mr Watson
(Pause)
(Rajan is day dreaming)
Rajan… Rajan… RAJAN!!
Rajan: oww sorry imRajan Chandra
Mr.M.watson: (sight heavily and hangs hid head down)
Come on let’s leave them to it
Rajan: Bye ladies enjoy your day
(Rajan and Mr Watson exit)
(Carla and he gang enter)
Carla: (laughing)
Carla’s Gang: (follow her and laugh)
Carla: (Carla looks back and looks at her gang giving them a look to stop laughing)
(Carla and her gang surround the newbies)
Carla: (Carla steps forward, look at all of the newbies) Oy! You what u in for?
Newbie 1: (confidently) Murder!
Carla: Hmmmmm ….. (Looking pleased)
What about you?
Newbie 2: (mumbering) Drink driving
(Carla and her gang start to laugh)
(When Carla stops laughing her gang stops laughing)
Carla: Listen yehh this is MY territory, I rule this place no one else!
(All the newbies look scared)
Carla: Do you understand me?!
(No one reply’s)
Carla: (gets in one of the newbies faces ,anger voice) I said do you understand me?!

2. Scene 1- New Arrival
All the newbies: (mumbling nervously) yes
Carla: that’s more like it, come on let’s go (ordering her gang to come with her)
(Carla and her gang exit)
