2. Margaret Keane was born in 1927
in Tennessee, US. Her name was
Peggy Doris Hawkins.

3. She went to some Art schools
before having her daughter. She
was famous in her church for
painting big-eyed angels.

4. In 1950’s she moved to San
Francisco with her daughter.

5. In San Francisco she met Walter
Keane in an Art market and
married him in
Hawaii. He said
he was an artist
too.

the trial and everybody learned the truth.
