In Jude 17-23 Jude shifts from piling up examples of false teachers from the Old Testament to a series of practical exhortations that flow from apostolic instruction. He preserves for us what may well have been part of the apostolic catechism for the first generation of Christ-followers. In these instructions Jude exhorts the believer to deal with 3 different groups of people: scoffers who are "devoid of the Spirit", believers who have come under the influence of scoffers and believers who are so entrenched in false teaching that they need rescue and pose some real spiritual risk for the rescuer. In all of this Jude emphasizes Jesus' call to rescue straying sheep, leaving the 99 safely behind and pursuing the 1.

services to our neighbors. We will take time to talk and spread the Word about KBC. At
12:30 PM we will meet at Chick-fil-A for lunch and talk about our experiences. Please come
join us and help spread the NEWS!

KBC Spring Bazaar Needs - As part of our Bazaar in May, we will be having a plant sale
along 2nd Avenue that morning. If you have some perennials in your yard that need to be
divided, now is the time to dig them up and divide them into pots. Please consider bringing
some of those potted perennials to our plant sale that Saturday. With everyone’s help, we
can have a wonderful array of beautiful plants to sell at the Bazaar. If you have any
questions about the plant sale, please contact DeAnne Talley at 919-217-8076.
Operation Christmas Child - We have a unique volunteer opportunity during the spring
break to bless children around the world. April 6th starting at 9:00 AM, our church family
has the opportunity to prepare shoeboxes that will show God’s love in countries where it
can be difficult to proclaim the Gospel. They have 37,000 boxes to be processed in just 4
days. If interested, please contact Terri Lucas by March 27th.
Youth Mission Trip - The mission trip will be at Ridgecrest in North Carolina. MFUGE
is the name of the trip and is put on by Lifeway. The youth went on an MFUGE trip three
years ago to Greenville, SC and had a great trip. They worshipped, played, met new friends,
and served those in the community. This year’s trip should prove to be impactful both for
the youth and for those we will serve. Please pray now for this opportunity.
Backpack Buddies - Thank you ALL for the ongoing food donations you provide for
Backpack Buddies. The weekend meals are going to children at Knightdale Elementary
